Set daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly centre ceilings

Super Admins control the overall spending envelope and teacher delegation.

For: Teacher, Centre Manager, Super Admin

Look for: Super Admin centre ceiling

  1. Super Admin: open Budgets & top-ups in the intended centre and expand Set or change the centre ceiling and teacher top-up permission. Managers and teachers can see the ceiling but cannot edit it.
  2. Choose one recurring period and a US-dollar ceiling. It covers student text/checks, voice, images and course/audio preparation together. Daily/channel/student limits still apply inside it.
  3. Daily periods begin at midnight UTC. Weeks begin Monday. Fortnights are 14-day periods paired from Monday 5 January 2026. Months are calendar months. The screen shows exact start and end dates.
  4. Choose whether teachers can apply their own top-ups. Set one daily dollar allowance shared by all teachers in the centre. Each grant consumes the larger of the centre amount or total student amounts. A zero allowance means approval is required.
  5. Larger teacher requests can still be submitted for approval. Managers cannot approve an increase beyond the period ceiling; a Super Admin can add temporary extra room for the current period on the review page.
  6. Preview the existing spending in the proposed window, give a reason and confirm. Decreasing below used/held spending stops new paid calls. Changing period re-counts stored usage; it never resets or erases it.
  7. Disabling teacher delegation stops new self-approved top-ups. Existing approved grants remain until expiry or explicit revocation. Revocation does not refund the delegation allowance already used that day.
