Top up a class quickly when allowances run out

Preview a temporary increase and see which limits can still stop the lesson.

For: Teacher, Centre Manager, Super Admin

Look for: Budgets · Budgets & top-ups · Top up today

  1. Open Budgets at the top, or Budgets & top-ups in the menu. Confirm the centre name; Switch centre returns you to its budget page.
  2. Check used/held spending, today’s effective ceiling and the Super Admin period ceiling. A top-up changes the app allowance; it does not buy API credits.
  3. In Top up today, choose voice, text, images, all tutoring or course preparation. Use a preset centre amount or enter US dollars. The centre amount raises shared and selected-channel limits together.
  4. Select the intended students. Optionally add money and operations for EACH selected student, so their individual shared/channel/count caps can rise too. Course preparation uses only the centre amount, with no student selections or extras.
  5. Give a short reason and preview. Check centre before/after, student increases, used/held spending, operation counts and learning-time/eligibility warnings. Learning minutes, live minutes, recording seconds, disabled features and provider credits are separate.
  6. Confirm. Teachers without sufficient delegation create a pending request. A manager can approve within the period ceiling; extra room beyond that ceiling needs a Super Admin’s explicit period top-up. Nothing is granted while pending.
  7. Requests and recent changes shows pending/applied/rejected/revoked decisions. An admin can reject or revoke with a reason; only a Super Admin can revoke a period-ceiling grant. Spending already incurred stays recorded.
  8. Daily extras expire at midnight UTC (5:30 am India). A separate Super Admin period extra lasts to that period’s end. A pending request cannot be applied on another day; create a fresh one.
