Monitoring defaults, child overrides and breaks

Look for: Monitoring defaults · Individual monitoring settings

1. Managers use Monitoring defaults for the centre’s question window, green/orange thresholds, consecutive-error warning, inactivity minutes and session target.
2. Authorised teachers open Individual monitoring settings from a learner/session detail. Child overrides take priority; leave an override blank to use the centre default.
3. A full question window is needed for accuracy colours; the consecutive-error warning can appear sooner. Thresholds must be sensible and non-overlapping.
4. During a live session, change the child’s target or enter a break duration and note. Zero break minutes resumes monitoring.
5. Changing a default target affects new sessions. Use the current session detail to change an already-active target.
