Create, edit, close, restore or delete a centre

Super Admins manage centre lifecycle; managers work within their assigned scope.

For: Centre Manager, Super Admin

Look for: Centres · Switch centre

  1. Super Admin: open Centres, enter a name and optionally a code, then create. Use Edit to change the name or code; share the new code for future sign-ins.
  2. Use Switch centre to enter an authorised active centre. The selected centre controls which people, courses and budgets are shown.
  3. Close/archive requires your password, a fresh authenticator code, the centre-code confirmation and a reason. It stops access, revokes sessions and preserves people and learning history.
  4. Restore requires reauthentication. Existing active accounts can sign in again with a fresh session; old sessions and access codes stay revoked.
  5. For a disposable centre, close it first, review permanent-deletion impact and confirm the requested acknowledgement. The deletion screen shows progress and any failure.
  6. Use retry only for a failed deletion after the underlying issue is fixed. Cancel is available only in the states the page permits; it cannot undo already deleted records. Never use deletion to fix a login or missing-content problem.
