Teacher chat and unread notifications

For: Student, Teacher, Centre Manager, Super Admin

Look for: Teacher chat · Chat

1. Click Chat at the top when an unread badge appears. Open the learner/teacher conversation to read and clear the unread indication.
2. Students use Teacher chat to contact authorised staff. Teachers choose a learner within their scope and reply from the same thread.
3. Choose the relevant subject-help or check-in purpose where the form offers it. Refer to the current activity when a child needs a specific clue.
4. A chat message does not assign a new worksheet or submit an answer. Use the assignment/answer controls for those actions.
5. Teacher chat makes no AI call. It is available within centre and student permissions; it is not a message to every user in every centre.
