Recover a forgotten password by email

Use a short-lived link while keeping authenticator protection.

For: Student, Teacher, Centre Manager, Super Admin, Attendance & payroll staff

  1. A Super Admin first configures Email settings and enables Forgot password under Sign-in settings. Otherwise the link stays hidden and the recovery endpoints are unavailable.
  2. Choose Forgot password on the sign-in page and enter centre code and username. The app gives the same response whether an eligible account exists or not. Only an active account with a verified registered email receives the link, subject to rate limits and the email allowance.
  3. Open the email link within 20 minutes, press Continue and enter a new password twice. Use at least 12 characters. Each link works once. A new password ends previous sessions, remembered devices and teacher-issued codes for that identity.
  4. Sign in again with the new password and authenticator. A reset does not remove or replace authenticators. For a lost phone, ask your Centre Manager or Super Admin; an assigned teacher can issue a temporary study code.

If no message arrives, check spam and ask the Centre Manager to check the registered email. If you did not request a reset, ignore the email. Opening a link alone never changes the password.
