Edit student budget baselines together
Use a spreadsheet-style table and percentage adjustments, with one reviewed save.
For: Teacher, Centre Manager, Super Admin
Look for: Edit all student baselines
- Manager/admin: open Budgets & top-ups → Edit all student baselines. The table shows active students in this centre, up to 500. Teachers cannot change these permanent baselines.
- Money columns use US dollars. Other columns are operation counts, recorded seconds, live minutes and learning minutes per day. Edit a cell directly or use the bulk controls.
- The Centre default row applies to new students and every student whose corresponding cell is blank. A blank student cell inherits; zero sets a zero baseline; approved current-day extras remain additional. An individual value overrides that default.
- Select the rows, choose a parameter (or All money ceilings / All operation counts) and enter a percentage: 25 increases by 25%; −20 reduces by 20%. Apply it to selected visible rows. Use centre default clears the selected student cells. Filtered-out rows are excluded from bulk buttons, but earlier edits remain in the preview.
- Give a reason and preview all changes. Check each changed cell and the difference between defaults and overrides. Confirm once to save the group together. Invalid or concurrently changed settings reject the save without partially applying it.
- Baseline changes recur each day; use Top up today for a one-day exception. Student increases do not raise centre ceilings or buy provider credits. Today’s top-ups, image-specific teacher settings and authorised time extensions stay separate.
- Lowering below existing use stops new work; records remain. Existing live calls keep their agreed duration, while new calls use the new baseline.
