Open work, check an answer and submit

1. Above the question, labelled icons offer Listen, Give me a clue, Explain simply, Teach me the basics, Talk to AI tutor, Chat to AI, Record & send and Inspiration. Each help action opens directly in the same right-side panel; there is no extra Help menu. Hover or focus an icon for help; Escape dismisses it. Tap an open panel’s icon again to close it. Chat, live voice and transcription still need the learner’s existing permissions.
2. Record & send opens the tutor recorder. Record, stop, transcribe, check or correct the words, then press Send to AI. Record my answer under the worksheet stays separate and does not send to the tutor.
3. Students with text tutoring enabled can chat below the conversation. For example, send “Which number goes on the bottom?”; the thinking indicator stays beside the message box and the reply comes into view from its beginning. Scroll up to read earlier messages without being pulled away. New reply or Latest message returns to the newest exchange. On phones, tap Your message to open the keyboard. Chatting does not submit the worksheet answer.
4. Activity pages start in Simple view with the question and answer first. Normal keeps the full sidebar visible. Tap the question counter at the top to jump to another question and see its saved status. In every view, the tutor opens on the right on wide screens, or in a closable side panel on smaller screens. Fun adds a small companion and answer encouragement. Use View to switch without losing typed work. The choice is remembered for your account in this browser; it does not enable AI or change assessment rules.
5. Simple and Fun collapse the sidebar; Show menu opens it. Give me a clue opens the first clue in the side panel without a page reload; tap it again to close. Another Give me a clue button appears while prepared clues remain. Explain simply opens prepared wording. Class 7 and ICSE Class 6 maths questions show Understand question instead, listing what is given, what to find, the answer format, a first step and word meanings, with up to five prepared clues when the learner’s plan allows them. Recognised Class 9 maths starter questions have simpler wording, a second way to think about the idea and, where it does not reveal the current answer, a solved example with different numbers. Other questions use their authored explanation or say when rewording is missing. These prepared examples cost no AI tokens. Ask AI another way opens a message to send using the existing text allowance; Teach me the basics opens reviewed teaching and worked steps in that same panel. Inspiration is a star button at the top; stories and puzzles open in the same side panel. The question counter opens compact navigation; there is no separate All questions list at the bottom. Reading options contains speed, available translations and permitted AI reading. Required passages, diagrams and working remain visible.
6. Checked answers show feedback beside the form. Completed questions offer Next question or Review & submit work. Past answers & feedback keeps earlier attempts. Checking an answer does not submit the whole assignment.
7. A work page lists every question. After the student starts, each question shows its wording and a status and opens when selected. Statuses are Not started, In progress, Checking answer and Completed; after submission, unfinished questions show Answered or Not answered. Resume / view my work and Submit this work appear above and below the list. Resume, and Start or continue on a practice group, open the first unfinished question. Long work shows 10 questions per page, and going back from a question returns to its page. Work cards show how many questions are completed. Returned work lists its earlier sittings under the questions. Question wording stays hidden until the student starts, and single-submission tests keep their own test page.
8. Scheduled cards show their opening time. A paused plan cannot open new work; started work remains available.
9. A single-submission quiz or mock test has a full test page. Save draft answers regularly; drafts are not marked. Press Submit test once when ready. No clues, AI tutoring or correctness feedback are available before submission. Device read-aloud is available. After a timer or daily learning allowance ends, only previously saved drafts count.
10. After Save draft answers, a note appears under any answer the app cannot read, such as a number written in words or a quantity without its unit. Fix it before Submit test once. The note never says whether an answer is right.
11. A submitted test shows points out of the points possible. Each question's points come from its answer key; most questions are worth one point and some written answers are worth more. Partly correct written answers can earn part of the points. Unanswered and unreadable answers earn zero. The score is provisional while any answers await marking or teacher review. Refresh results to see changes. A teacher can return work for a separate new sitting; previous results are retained.
12. Practice answers that earn points show them, for example 2 of 3 points. An answer with a format to fix, such as a missing unit, is not scored; correct it and check again. The app records how long each first answer took, so teachers can plan practice for timed exams.
13. Students open Homework, Quizzes, Fun activities, Assignments or Mock tests. Open a card and press Start or Continue.
14. Read/listen to the question. Type Your answer and optionally your working, then press Check answer. Read the feedback below the form. Expand Past answers & feedback for earlier attempts.
15. A recorded spoken draft can be replayed and transcribed when enabled. Confirm the words before using them as a formal worksheet answer.
16. Use prepared clues or Ask my teacher when stuck. Guided assistance is recorded; an independent check may restrict substantive help.
17. Move between the numbered activities and submit the assignment when finished. A completed sitting or expired time limit may stop new attempts.
18. Saved rules check numeric answers. Supported Class 9 written maths answers receive AI marking when centre and student AI text permissions and budgets allow. Include the reasoning the question asks for; a correct final answer alone can be incomplete. AI conversation does not award a worksheet grade.
19. A blue AI checked label means teacher verification is optional. Amber means teacher review is required; green means a teacher verified the assessment. These colours describe review status, not correctness. Choose Ask my teacher to review this answer if you disagree. Drawings still need a teacher.
