Mark the attendance register quickly

Choose one centre, date and register; save rows without opening individual accounts.

For: Teacher, Centre Manager, Super Admin, Attendance & payroll staff

Look for: Attendance register

  1. Open Attendance register. Choose Students or Teachers, managers & attendance staff, the date, and an optional name/code search. Switch centre shows only centres you may enter.
  2. Click Present, Absent or Excused on a row. Wait for Saved. If saving fails or the row changed elsewhere, the page explains it; your draft is not confirmed saved. Use Show register to reload current values.
  3. Teachers can mark assigned students. An Attendance Manager role can cover the whole student register, staff register or both. Reporters and approvers have view-only rows unless they also have marking permission.
  4. Mark children present even when they study without a computer. Times can remain blank if unknown. Existing or backdated entries need a correction reason. Edit times / hours / status allows arrival/departure changes, entered staff hours or a saved staff default directly in the row.
  5. For many people, select their rows and use Mark selected present, absent or excused. Provide a reason for corrections. The entire selected group saves together; a conflicting edit stops the batch.
  6. History / visits shows individual visits and the original entries behind corrections. Several visits can be corrected separately. Clearing a marking retains its history and changes it to Not marked.
  7. Unmarked is not absent. The first phase has a weekly centre schedule, but does not infer absence from missing login or no app activity. On a centre holiday the register shows the holiday name; attendance is not expected, but anything recorded stays.
