Review teachers' and managers' attendance

Check the hours and confirm attendance using the centre’s review rules.

For: Teacher, Centre Manager, Super Admin, Attendance & payroll staff

  1. Open Staff approvals to see every pending day you may review in one list and approve several together, or open the staff register and choose Review attendance or History / visits for one day. Read arrival/departure sources and previous corrections before approving.
  2. The Centre Manager can review teachers and attendance staff. An Attendance Approver can cover an absent reviewer within their assigned scope. Only a Super Admin or an explicitly authorised approver can review managers.
  3. Second review starts on. While on, nobody approves their own attendance or a staff-time entry they recorded, even across centre memberships. When a Centre Manager turns it off in Attendance settings, managers can confirm their own register entries, including their own attendance. Teacher and operations accounts still need another reviewer; reviewing another manager still needs explicit manager-review permission.
  4. For visit-based hours, missing departures must be entered or a passed scheduled finish explicitly confirmed. For entered/default hours, check the declared hours instead; no departure time is invented. Unknown hours cannot be approved for payroll.
  5. Approve, adding a review note when your centre requires one, or return for correction with a reason. Corrected staff time requires fresh review. Original entries and decisions remain in history.
  6. Multiple visits are counted separately. Overlapping timed visits across centres prevent approval. Declared/default hours have no exact times to compare; reviewers must check them. Approved hours across centres cannot exceed 24 hours for one attendance date.

Review confirms attendance evidence and working time. Payroll is a separate permission and uses approved hours. Leave entitlement, overtime rates and statutory payroll deductions are not implemented.
