Download attendance and approved staff timesheets

Export a scoped CSV for spreadsheet or external processing, with review status clearly shown.

For: Teacher, Centre Manager, Super Admin, Attendance & payroll staff

Look for: Attendance reports

  1. The footer totals the displayed people in Summary or the displayed days in Daily entries. Unknown-duration present days remain separate from known hours. When the page is limited to 500 entries, its footer is not a total of the full CSV.
  2. In the results table, select a column heading to sort, then select it again to reverse the order. Names and codes are separate columns; counts and hours sort numerically. The arrow shows the current order. The CSV follows this order too. Daily entries are sorted before the 500-row display limit; use the CSV for all selected entries. On a small screen, scroll the table sideways.
  3. Open Attendance reports. Choose custom dates, this/last week, month, quarter or year, or Q1–Q4 of a selected year. Financial years start in April; calendar years start in January. Teachers remain within their attendance scope. The former 93-day limit is removed.
  4. Summary per person shows present, absent and excused days, pending/returned entries, known hours, approved hours and unknown-duration days. Click a name for Daily entries. Unmarked dates are not inferred absences.
  5. Select Approved records only when preparing approved staff timesheets. Open, unreviewed or returned entries do not supply approved hours. Scheduled estimates require explicit confirmation before staff approval.
  6. Download attendance CSV follows the selected layout. Summary gives one row per person; Daily entries includes the record ID/version, time zone, reviewer and hours basis. Gaps between timed visits are excluded from worked hours.
  7. Downloads are recorded in the audit log. A later correction creates a new record version and requires fresh staff review; it does not silently change a previously downloaded file.

Attendance exports contain no pay rates, family contacts, student answers or AI usage. Payroll & payments has separately protected financial reports. Exports above 200,000 attendance entries must be split into smaller periods.
